Palm Beach Motor Yachts was proud to support the New York Yacht Club Women’s International Championship in Newport, Rhode Island, bringing together some of the world’s leading female sailors for a week of highly competitive racing.

The partnership reflects Palm Beach Motor Yachts’ deep connection to sailing and ocean racing, as well as a commitment to supporting women in the sport and creating opportunities for accomplished sailors to experience competition at its highest levels.

Throughout the Championship, Palm Beach Motor Yachts was part of the action both on and off the water. A Palm Beach GT60 served as a spectator boat, providing an exceptional vantage point from which to follow the racing on Narragansett Bay.

As part of the partnership, Palm Beach Motor Yachts is extending the experience beyond Newport by awarding four sailors the opportunity to travel to Sydney, Australia, for an immersive sailing experience with Palm Beach XI, the legendary 100-foot super maxi formerly known as Wild Oats XI.

The four sailors will join the Palm Beach XI program for a week of training and preparation ahead of the 2026 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, gaining firsthand experience aboard one of the most successful ocean-racing yachts of its generation.

Palm Beach XI has claimed line honors in the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race nine times. Today, the yacht serves as a platform for Palm Beach Motor Yachts to explore performance, innovation and advanced technology while creating extraordinary experiences around the world.

Ocean racing has been integral to Palm Beach Motor Yachts for more than 30 years. Founder, CEO and Chief Designer Mark Richards’ experience at the highest levels of competitive sailing continues to influence the company’s approach to performance, efficiency, engineering and design.

Supporting the NYYC Women’s International Championship is a natural extension of that heritage and an opportunity to support exceptional women in sailing while sharing the experience, knowledge and passion for ocean racing that are central to Palm Beach Motor Yachts.
