The GT Series is made for the moment when impulse becomes intention.
Visual elegance and tenacious speed combine in this simple-to-operate, stunning yacht from Palm Beach Motor Yachts. The Palm Beach GT50, the first in a series that also includes the GT60 and GT70, is capable of 40 knots, with a pair of 600-hp Volvo IPS 800s. At an economic 35-knot cruise speed, the GT50 consumes only 40 gallons of fuel per hour. Beautiful exterior lines and contemporary interior finishes deliver timeless appeal.
“For me, the GT50 represents a merger of 35 years of boatbuilding passion and design experience to create a very exciting new series, with a clear goal of creating the most efficient powerboat in the world today. Watch this space for more.” – Palm Beach Motor Yachts CEO Mark Richards
Like all Palm Beach models, a hyper-focus on lightweight, strong construction helps to ensure the GT’s efficiency. The GT’s hull is a fully infused vinylester cored e-glass construction, complemented by a fully infused, 100% carbon fiber deck and superstructure. The deck and bulkheads are structurally bonded to the hull for increased strength and rigidity, forming a semi-monococque shell that produces a far stronger result.
But despite the attention to detail that has gone into every inch of the GT Series, owners won’t have to worry about a thing once they step onboard. The GT is about embracing simplicity, and its turn-key systems allow yachtsmen to enjoy their time on the water.
The first GT50 Express made its debut September 2018 at the Newport International Boat Show where it won the awards for Best New Powerboat, and Best Powerboat Overall. The first GT50 Open made its debut in February 2019 at the Miami International Boat Show. In September 2019, the GT50 will make its European debut at Cannes.
